Hey everyone... Hope life is rocking across the globe... I guess except my aussie frnds the whole world is merry....
Does there exist a place for bare facts and truth in today's Business world. Got tired of calling it the corporate world. Have we all lost the ability to hear criticism up front. I cant believe that the ego's of modern day educated employees become so large. Where are those guys who would face the music and give it back.
I have still not found someone who wants to hear the real feedback not the honey coated politically correct version. When I was growing up I would love the profs or teachers who would be brutally honest. Even if you had all straight A's, if you had given a shoddy performance you need to listen to it.
This has come to our personal lives, if we don't like someone we are not able to tell him/her to buzz off. In case relationships things go further south on pretense of not hurting anyone's feeling we wont say him or her to move on. Well i dont know would I be more comfortable if the girl I propose says " No I dont like you" or " I real value you as a frnd and I dont think.....". In theory I prefer the first one but in reality I dont know.
I guess all this things come from the deep need for being loved and accepted by everyone around us. Isnt that the most primal of instincts. I would be lying if I said I did not want that. But how much is normal or how much is taking it too far.
Any thoughts.....
